Over the course of an evening, two special women provide a special insight into the work of Canadian artist Jeff Wall: Sibylle Berg, one of the best-known writers and playwrights in the German-speaking world, was inspired by Wall’s staged photographic artworks to write a wonderfully multi-layered monologue on his ‘Fieldwork’. This piece is brought to life by the expressive presence of the renowned German actor Katja Riemann during a staged reading. On this evening, she lends her voice to give Berg’s examination of staging a haunting and unmistakable expression. The event will be held in German. The exhibitions can be visited before the event.
