For the first time in a museum exhibition, Auguste Rodin's and Hans Arp's works enter into dialogue. The groundbreaking work of the great innovator of late 19th century sculpture meets the influential work of a protagonist of 20th century abstract sculpture.

Olafur Eliasson’s art invites viewers to explore future forms of coexistence by welcoming multiple perspectives – human and non-human alike. For his solo show at Fondation Beyeler, the artist immerses the institution in a border-crossing investigation of our preconceptions of nature and culture.
"Close-Up" 19.9.2021 – 2.1.2022
The exhibition shows works by women artists occupying prominent positions within the history of modern art from 1870 to the present day.
"Goya" 10.10.2021 – 23.1.2022
The Fondation Beyeler is presenting one of the most important exhibitions ever devoted to Francisco de Goya outside of Spain. Goya was one of the last major court artists and the first pioneer of modern art.
"Journées Sophie et Jean" Ticket Special
WED. 5. & 12. May, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Visit the exhibitions "Sophie Taeuber-Arp" at the Kunstmuseum Basel and "Rodin/Arp" at the Fondation Beyeler on the same day for the price of one. Simply show your online ticket (for the Fondation Beyeler or the Kunstmuseum) at the respective museum ticket office and you will be admitted free of charge to the second venue. To visit both museums, it is necessary to book a time slot in advance.
NEW: Extended opening times and bar service
The current menu invites you to take a culinary spring stroll with classic and new dishes. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the terrace will stay open until 9 p.m., weather permitting. On these days, you can also enjoy our new bar service, where we offer a selection of cool drinks and snacks to round off the evening in the park.
"Open Studio" Weekend Workshops
SATURDAY, 5. & SUNDAY, 6. JUNE, 10 A.M. - 6 P.M. – Our "Open Studio" workshops are taking place again soon – this time inspired by the current exhibition "Life" by Olafur Eliasson. Visitors can try out workshops at three stations in the park where they can create biotopes and scenographic models and try their hand in light and photo experiments. Participation is free of charge and suitable for all age groups (under 12s with accompaniment). No pre-registration necessary.
Dinner at the "Beyeler Restaurant im Park"
SATURDAYS, BETWEEN 6 P.M. AND 9 P.M. – We cordially invite you to enjoy a vegetarian or vegan 3-course menu on our beautiful terrace of the "Beyeler Restaurant im Park" – of course in compliance with the respective protective measures – Inspired by Olafur Eliasson’s exhibition Life.
Four concepts for moving image artworks presented on Fondation Beyeler’s website
The Fondation Beyeler presents draft moving-image artworks created by four artists shortlisted for the Dream Commission. The Dream Commission supports moving-image art by emerging and mid-career artists. It’s the flagship initiative of Muse, the Rolls-Royce Art Programmed, in close collaboration with the Fondation Beyeler and the Serpentine Galleries.

Together with the Sinfonieorchester Basel we invite you to wander through the “Rodin/Arp” exhibition at the Fondation Beyeler to the sound of works by Bach, Bridge, Britten and Saint-Saëns. The production emphasizes the reciprocal relationship between space, sculpture and music.
New video series: Arp in Public
Hans Arp is one of the twentieth century's outstanding sculptors. His works are found in the world's leading art museums. Less known is the fact that a number of his sculptures also stand in public spaces, in and around Basel. This new series of short videos invites you to join exhibition curator Raphael Bouvier in exploring these works, and perhaps to see them for yourself at first hand.

Animal Crossing X Fondation Beyeler
During the current temporary closure, we have made one of our greatest artworks accessible online: the museum itself.
