Jeff Wall | 28.1. – 21.4.2024
At the beginning of next year, the Fondation Beyeler will devote a comprehensive solo show to Canadian artist Jeff Wall (*1946). It will be the first such exhibition of his work in Switzerland in two decades.

For a long time lost and banished from film history, “Buba” is a pioneering documentary about the remote mountainous region of Racha in north-western Georgia during the Soviet era. After an introductory talk by Daniel Baumann, guest curator of the “Niko Pirosmani” exhibition, the 39-minute silent film will be shown continuously until 9 p.m.
Beyeler Collection Stories
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Fondation Beyeler, selected highlights of the collection are made accessible to be experienced online. Under the title "Beyeler Collection Stories", the digital presentation focuses on the stories surrounding the individual artworks and artists.
"24 Stops" – Rehberger-Weg
The Rehberger-Weg runs approximately 5 kilometers and joins two countries, two communities, two cultural institutions – and countless stories. It runs between Riehen and Weil am Rhein, between the Fondation Beyeler and the Vitra Campus. Along the “24 Stops,” 24 milestones created by artist Tobias Rehberger (b.1966), you can explore the diverse natural and cultural landscape. The Rehberger-Weg provides the opportunity to get to know the history and stories of the area and its people while getting out into nature.
The Fondation Beyeler's main goal is to bring art and viewer together. In our guided tours and workshops, we do not only share knowledge about artists, works, and epochs. We create above all a space in which to deepen observations and exchange different views, perceptions, thoughts, and feelings.
Film and Game "Das Dingsda im Museum"
The new museum game invites children and adults to discover the works of art based on questions in a playful way and in exchange with each other. It can be borrowed free of charge from the Art Shop of the Fondation Beyeler for your museum visit and is suitable for every exhibition. Only avaible in German.
