Sammlungsausstellung / Remix
June 10 - September 3, 2017
The second exhibition in the series will show the collection in its present state. In recent years, it has started to be extended through acquisitions designed to give it a contemporary facet. The interaction between acquisitions and the existing collection is always a key criterion for decisions about what to select. This presentation will showcase the dialog between artists and the collection in many different ways.

Ernst and Hildy Beyeler were passionately involved in the arts throughout their lives. They made all the paintings and sculptures of their world-famous art collection accessible to the public at the Fondation Beyeler in 1997. Today, the collection comprises 300 classic modern and contemporary works.
The Fondation Beyeler's main goal is to bring art and viewer together. In our guided tours and workshops, we do not only share knowledge about artists, works, and epochs. We create above all a space in which to deepen observations and exchange different views, perceptions, thoughts, and feelings. Our goal is to let stories, and therefore connections, come into being between the artwork and the viewer. Especially important to the Fondation Beyeler is that children and young people find their way to such stories and connections.
This is the perfect place for art lovers, visitors and gift seekers. Since 1997 the Fondation Beyeler Shop has carried a selection of exhibition catalogs, posters, special editions, and current books on art, architecture, and design, as well as watches, accessories, and other design articles. The 65 art editions are now on special offer. These are high-quality, limited editions and art reproductions (often signed), lithographs, engravings, or silk-screen prints of selected works, as well as exclusive objects and books.
