Online Tickets

On our website, you can purchase online admission tickets including time slots for your museum visit. For reduced or free admission, you can book a time slot reservation.

The time slots are arranged in half-hour intervals, allowing you to plan your visit flexibly. From the selected time, you have thirty minutes to enter the museum; the duration of your stay is not limited thereafter.

You can present tickets as an A4 printout or digitally with a clearly legible QR code.

With the following online tickets, you can proceed directly to the museum entrance:

«Adult Admission»
«Admission up to and including 25 years free». Please present your ID card at the entrance.
«Admission for people with disabilities (with IV or disability card)». Please present your disability card at the entrance.

Please proceed to the museum ticket desk first with the following online tickets:

«BaselCard Admission». Your personal BaselCard will be scanned at the ticket desk.

With an online ticket «Time Slot Reservation for Free Admission» and presentation of the following vouchers or memberships, you can proceed directly to the museum entrance:

RailAway voucher
«Mittwochsgeschenk» from Riehener Zeitung
Members of Museums-PASS-Musées

With an online ticket «Time Slot Reservation for Free Admission» or «Time Slot Reservation for Reduced Admission» for all other vouchers or memberships, please proceed to the museum ticket desk first. You can pay the reduced admission on site at the ticket desk.

Should you be unable to attend your visit, you can cancel your tickets via the link in your email confirmation up to one hour before the booked appointment and convert them into a value voucher that can be redeemed for new tickets for one year.

Tickets are also available on site at the ticket desk, provided tickets are not sold out online.
