Where can I obtain press material?
On the Fondation Beyeler press website, you can download press images and media releases about the current exhibitions and programme of the Fondation Beyeler.
What do I need to do to be informed about upcoming exhibitions?
We would be happy to add you to our press mailing list. Please send us an email at presse@fondationbeyeler.ch with the following information:
- Full name
- Media outlet
- Phone number
- Email address
How do I obtain admission to the Fondation Beyeler as a member of the press?
We look forward to your visit. Members of the media receive free admission upon presentation of their valid press card at the ticket desk during opening hours. No time-slot ticket needs to be reserved.
Members of the media without a press card can be accredited by sending an email to presse@fondationbeyeler.ch. Please provide the following information:
- Name
- Media outlet
- Client/Commissioner
- Desired day and time of visit
Please note that the press office is not staffed on weekends and public holidays. Therefore, please send us your request on the preceding working days.
May I take photos/film in the Fondation Beyeler ensemble?
Photo and film recordings for editorial purposes are only permitted with authorization and in consultation with the press or communications department.
If you are interested in a photo or film appointment, please send an email to presse@fondationbeyeler.ch with the following information, and we will be happy to organize your visit:
- Who will be conducting the recordings? Who are you?
- For whom is the contribution?
- Broadcast date?
- Information about the contribution, e.g. who will be seen on camera?
- How do you plan to conduct the recordings (time, size of the team, equipment, how long will you need, etc.)?

The Fondation Beyeler reserves the right to decline requests for press visits. We try to accommodate all requests. Please understand should this not be possible.
Please note the directive for photo, film and video recordings at the Fondation Beyeler before your visit. To save time, please bring it already completed and signed to the agreed filming appointment.
May I use the images on the press website?
The press images of the Fondation Beyeler may only be used in connection with current reporting on the Fondation Beyeler and/or the current exhibitions.
Any publication of a photograph must include the complete caption including the copyright and source credits.
Are there any copyright or terms of use guidelines that I need to observe?
COPYRIGHT
According to Swiss law, image material may be used free of charge for press purposes in the context of current reporting. By downloading and using the press images provided, you agree to our terms of use (see below) and to compliance with the copyright law applicable in your territory. The Fondation Beyeler is not the holder of the copyrights and disclaims any responsibility for copyright fees incurred through the use of image and film material.
TERMS OF USE
The press images provided may only be used by media (print, online, TV, radio) in the context of reporting on the respective current exhibition, with full citation of the accompanying author and rights credits. They may only be published unchanged and without cropping or overprinting. Images may only be published online in low resolution (maximum 72 dpi) and small size (maximum 1600 pixels).
