Collect, Collect, Collect
Who collects? What can one collect? Why does one collect? We are devoting the year of 2017 to the topic of collecting.
The focus of observation, reflection, and ideas will be every aspect of the collection, the collector, and collecting. Ernst Beyeler collected paintings, drawings, and sculptures from various countries. Do you also collect? What do you collect? What do you like in the Beyeler Collection? Why did Beyeler collect? Why do you collect?
Take part in our contest and win a fantastic surprise!
Let yourself be inspired by our monthly Youth Atelier (every first Wednesday, 17:00, February – June / September – November) to create your own personal sketchbook, your very own portfolio.
You will receive the portfolio at one of eight Youth Studio sessions in 2017. Record your thoughts graphically, sculpturally, photographically as a collage, a painting, or digitally and collect, collect, collect.
The sketchbooks will be exhibited and prizes awarded on December 6, 2017, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Fondation Beyeler studio.
