In its "Bodybuilding" section, the Swiss magazine annabelle focuses on the woman’s body – nude, unedited, but aesthetically photographed – and lets the woman portrayed talk about her relationship to her body. Body and corporeality also play central roles in Henri Matisse’s work. On this Friday Beyeler evening, we stage these highly personal body stories and discuss the complex construction of individual and social body images. Meeting point: foyer in the museum.
