‘Frankie & Tony’, the ‘Duo en Vogue’ from Zurich, pride themselves on being the ‘smallest big band in the world’ – though they do sometimes expand to three, four or five members. Their sophisticated arrangements and exuberant live performances ensure that, despite their size, you can still fully enjoy the musical charm of years gone by. With danceable swing and sing-along songs, Frankie & Tony transform the park around the Fondation Beyeler pavilion into a scene of sparkling melodies and stirring rhythms during a Sound Garden evening. The concert series will take place every Wednesday between 6 and 8 pm in the park of the Fondation Beyeler from 19 June to 25 September 2024. Admission is free and no prior booking is necessary.
