DESCRIPTION:The curator of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, Helga Christoffersen, talks to the Danish artist Jakob Kudsk Steensen about his artistic practice and his digital installation "Boreal Dreams’" which was commissioned by the Fondation Beyeler and celebrates its premiere to accompany the exhibition "Northern Lights". With "Boreal Dreams", the artist addresses the effects of the climate crisis on the ecosystem of the boreal zone by creating virtual landscapes based on scientific data collection and gaming technology. 

The talk will be held in English.
