DESCRIPTION:How can conscious breathing and movement in a space change how we view art? Are the images really as still as they seem? How does nature move around them? This ‘Friday Beyeler’ evening offers a unique opportunity to engage in a meditative observation of art. Explore Jeff Wall’s photographic works through the ‘box breathing’ technique combined with conscious movement in the inspiring exhibition spaces between Wall’s iconic lightboxes. Led by David Richter and Michael Ray-Von, visitors will be able to discover new approaches to Wall’s multi-layered artworks and reflect on their own role as viewers in a new way.

Meeting point: Hall 5 of the ‘Jeff Wall’ exhibition. Advance booking is not required for this event.
This evening event will be held in German and English.
