Sound Garden with Basel Brass Ensemble

On the final summer evening of the Sound Garden music series, the Basel Brass Ensemble invites you on a rich journey through several centuries of musical history. With Jean-François Madeuf and Marc Ullrich on trumpet, cornet and flugelhorn, Alexandre Zanetta on horn, Emily Saville on trombone and David Leclerc on tuba, a multifaceted spectrum of sound unfolds, spanning from ceremonial 17th-century tower music to charming opera overtures, salon music, jazz standards and well-known pop hits. Works by Johann Pezel, Franz Schubert, Charles Gounod, Claude Bolling and John Lennon combine to create an atmospheric outdoor concert experience.

The music series will take place every Wednesday from 24 June to 29 July 2026 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the park of the Fondation Beyeler. Admission is free and no prior booking is necessary.
