Sound Garden with Merlin Modulaw
As a "sonic architect", Merlin Modulaw creates personal soundscapes in which influences from popular music naturally combine with electroacoustic and acoustic elements. The Paris-based Zurich native develops a multi-layered, atmospheric sound that lies between rhythmic directness and spatial depth. His works move between live performance, DJ sets and installation, and at the same time have a physical and atmospheric presence. For one evening in the Fondation Beyeler’s Sound Garden, his music can be experienced directly: driving beats meet dense musical landscapes and fine sound design. The result is an intense listening experience that brings together familiar sounds in new ways and creates unique moments.
The music series will take place every Wednesday from 24 June to 29 July 2026 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the park of the Fondation Beyeler. Admission is free and no prior booking is necessary.
