Based on the recently published complete correspondence between Paul Cézanne and Émile Zola, Stéphane Guégan, curator at the Musée d’Orsay, and Robert Kopp, former professor of French literature at the University of Basel, will discuss the exceptional friendship between the two artists. The conversation will be held in French. In collaboration with the Société d’études françaises de Bâle and the Alliance Française, Basel. Museum admission is included in the event ticket. Visitors are welcome to view the exhibitions from 4.30pm onwards.
