Apples, oranges, skulls – the objects in Paul Cezanne's still lifes all tell a story. Which objects carry meaning for us nowadays? And what role can the art historical genre of the still life play for us today?

After a thematic tour of the exhibition, we will repair to the studio for various drawing exercises using different materials and techniques. On the basis of these experimental approaches, participants will develop their very own versions of a contemporary still life.
