Ticketing
For Olafur Eliasson’s exhibition «Life», our ticketing system offers timed tickets, which determine the specific date and time of your visit. You can purchase timed tickets online and at the ticket office at the museum every hour. There is no limit on the length of your stay.
Yes, you can buy tickets at the ticket office of the museum.
If you qualify for free or reduced admission, please show your proof at the museum desk and buy your ticket there.

Due to the additional administrative effort, timed online tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.

GENERAL QUESTIONS
Now as ever, the safety of our visitors and employees remains our first priority. The Fondation Beyeler has therefore drawn up a comprehensive safety plan that takes into account the Swiss Federal Council’s and Canton's Covid-19 Ordinances. In order to make your visit to the museum as enjoyable as possible in these challenging times, we have introduced several measures to optimise visitor flow.
To avoid waiting times, we recommend that all visitors to the Fondation Beyeler purchase an e-ticket in advance.
Please note: For the "Rodin/Arp" special exhibition we have introduced new ticketing arrangements, with timed tickets thar are valid for a stated date and time of admission. A one-hour time slot is provided for entry to the museum, so if you buy a timed ticket for 10 a.m., you should arrive by 11 a.m. at the latest. There is no limit on the length of your stay.
Please make sure, before booking an online timed ticket, that the stated date and time are suitable for you. Refunds are not available for online bookings.
Tickets will remain available for purchase at the museum's cash desk.
Entry coupons are always valid with the exception of exhibitions with a higher admission fee.
The parking lot "Zentrum" is located next to the Fondation Beyeler and is open 24 hours a day. Handicapped parking is available immediately by the entrance. Along the side of the museum on Baselstrasse there are an additional three parking spots for coaches. If these are occupied, guests can be dropped off in front of the museum before the coach is parked on "Schiessplatz" in Riehen.
Registration is obligatory for school classes and only possible by filling out the relevant online form. Registration by telephone or email cannot be accepted.

Groups of over 20 persons must register and give details of the size of the group, date and arrival time. We will be happy to check if we can accommodate your visit and follow up with a confirmation by email.

Tickets are available 14 days in advance online or at the box office on the day of the tour. You can purchase tickets on the day of the tour only at the museum. There is a limited number of places for each tour. We recommend that you arrive early to get a spot.

We offer private tours from Monday to Saturday. You can register by giving details about the size of the group, date and arrival time, and complete contact details. You must make your booking four weeks in advance of your intended visit.

Dogs are not allowed inside the museum, with the exception of guide dogs.
We will be happy to connect you with professional dog sitters who will take your dog out to explore the picturesque landscape around the Fondation Beyeler and the Berower Gut while you visit our exhibitions. Guests who are interested in handing over their dog for a walk can contact the following dog sitter to coordinate the exact schedule:

To ensure that the dog sitter is available for a walk with your dog during your planned visit, we recommend that you contact them in advance. Unplanned handovers are not possible.
