Mirta d'Argenzio discusses with Thierry Greub, Matt Jolly and Achim Hochdörfer what first puts the Catalogue Raisonnés of Drawings Part 3, 1961–1963 edited by Nicola Del Roscio into the wider scope of the other catalogue raisonnés dedicated to the work of Cy Twombly in other media (painting, sculpture, graphic art, photography) Thierry Greub will give a short definition of Cy Twombly's drawings in general and explain what new features are intrinsic of the third volume of the Catalogue Raisonné of Drawings, Part 3, 1961–1963. Matt Jolly, will trace the emergence of color in Cy Twombly's drawings which appeared only sparingly in his works on paper from the early part of his career, but gradually comes to the fore in the crayon, colored-pencil and ballpoint drawings of the 1960s. Achim Hochdörfer focus on some surprising aspects of the „microstructure“ of Cy Twombly artistic development in the moment of his move to Rome in the late 1950s.
